Life in the Global Village (Küresel Köyde Hayat) is one of books I have read with a great pleasure. It is a great fiction which everyone can find somethings in their own lives in it. Hayat (Life), the novel's character shows us several points of life like a film, as if it is a film more than a novel, the writer gives place to fiction characters of famous writers such as Dante, Samuel Beckett, Ahmet hamdi Tanpynar, O?uz Atay, Orhan Pamuk, Adalet A?ao?lu as well in her novel. All fiction characters meet in this book an interesting way. a simple, fluent language is used, also it smells humar, irony, satire about the global village. on the other hand life and death, are two sister or brother words running after each other in the novel. In addition to this philosophical, literary, and poetic discouses have got another significance. Also postmodern expressions, wordplays, by Hayat, Molloy, Turgut, Osman, Aysel etc., send us to different thoughts, some we think, some we laugh and some we are surprised, and some we are angry at lords of the global village crushing poor or week people. Shortly, in order not to be lost in the global village I suggest this book you shoul read it soon. Really it has a different technique including readers as the characters as well as wellknown fiction characters. It is a fiction turning its face to the present, not the past or future. Its narration is qu?te well, and impressive. Enjoy reading it. Lizzy elizabeth bennett
