Another ATA-NC Turkish School year is starting on Sunday, 13th of September and we as volunteers are so excited.

This new beginner Turkish class will meet in Midtown West from 6:30 to 8:00pm on Monday evenings for 12 weeks, starting September 21st.

19:00-23:30 "Seeking Beauty" by Korhan Basaran
The premiere of Present Present Present by York Dance Works. The program features Turkish choreographer Korhan Basaran in “Seeking Beauty”, a sextet with baroque music by composers Couperin, Corelli, Handel and Purcell.

This cd is hauntingly beautiful. It is a very well researched collection of Armenian songs from Dersim (modern day Tunceli). The cd was recorded partly in Yerevan, Armenia. The production quality is excellent and has a somewhat layered quality similar 2375 2010-08-11 11:45:13
