Another ATA-NC Turkish School year is starting on Sunday, 13th of September and we as volunteers are so excited.

13:30-16:30 ATA-DC Kurban Bayrami Celebration
You are invited to celebrate the "Kurban Bayrami" with ATA-DC for entertainment, food, tea and coffee, fortune telling and kids activities. Proceeds will benefit ATA-DC's Ataturk School.

15:00-18:00 Turkish Cooking Class
If you are interested in expanding your culinary repertoire with select vegetarian dishes from the Turkish cuisine, join ATA-NC members for a cooking class followed by a social hour. Menu will also include a soup, a desert, and some appetizers.

18:30-20:00 Beginner Turkish Class in NY
This new beginner Turkish class will meet in Midtown West from 6:30 to 8:00pm on Monday evenings for 12 weeks, starting September 21st.

This cd is hauntingly beautiful. It is a very well researched collection of Armenian songs from Dersim (modern day Tunceli). The cd was recorded partly in Yerevan, Armenia. The production quality is excellent and has a somewhat layered quality similar 2375 2010-08-11 11:45:13
